There are a lot of guys around in their 50′s and 60′s dating late 20′s to mid-30′s Asian women. The sorts of Asian women I’m talking about don’t speak very good English and are the cliche immigrant women wanting stability and residency.
I always notice these guys are socially maladroit and a bit defensive; I’ve never met one who wasn’t this way. They don’t smile, they don’t get jokes, they don’t make jokes. They always look uncomfortable, slightly annoyed, and a bit preoccupied.
I wonder if it’s because they feel insecure about any woman’s dedication as they’ve had no attention in the fifteen years since their wives left them, or it’s because they feel embarrassed knowing they look sleazy, or maybe it’s that it’s difficult to be in relate-to-compatriate-mode and relate-to-person-of-rudimentary-language-skills-mode simultaneously.
Or maybe they’re just aroused, but that seems too obvious.
